The short Answer- Yes. While it is true crop tops today are generally marketed towards women, many men have been flaunting crop tops for generations- be it as a functional apparel choice, or a bold fashion statement!
If you do a little research (Google), you will realize that the cropped shirt was originally created by men for men and was part of men’s fashion for years before women began wearing them.
While it came out in the 1940’s it wasn’t until the 70's when it became popular because bodybuilders used to cut off the bottom of their shirts to get around gym dress codes that prevented men from training without shirts.

Well, here’s a quick list of male celebrities who wore crop tops and broke stereotypes surrounding this tiny yet powerful piece of apparel wear.
1. Sylvester Stallone - wore one in the early ‘Rocky’ films.
