One of the most iconic dad jokes, constantly misquoted by the Office’s Michael Scott. This joke first debuted on the comedy movie Airplane!, where the protagonist asks one of the passengers if they can land a crashing plane. The passenger, bewildered, says ‘Surely you can’t be serious’ and that’s when Leslie Nielsen delivers this famous line:
